At Manor Animal Hospital we are proud to offer laser surgery for your pet. All surgeries are done with a Cutting Edge CO2 Surgical Laser which provides a host of benefits over traditional surgery, and in many procedures, can replace the scalpel entirely. A laser is an intense beam of light that is precisely controlled to instantly vaporize the water found in tissues, allowing it to “cut” or remove xtremely small areas of tissue.

At Manor Animal Hospital we are proud to offer laser surgery for your pet. All surgeries are done with a Cutting Edge CO2 Surgical Laser which provides a host of benefits over traditional surgery, and in many procedures, can replace the scalpel entirely. A laser is an intense beam of light that is precisely controlled to instantly vaporize the water found in tissues, allowing it to “cut” or remove extremely small areas of tissue.

Laser benefits include:

Less Pain: The laser seals the nerve endings as it cuts. As a result, your pet will experience less pain and be more comfortable after surgery.

Less Bleeding: The laser cauterizes small blood vessels during surgery. Because there is less bleeding, surgery can be completed more quickly thus reducing the amount of time your pet will be under anesthesia.

Reduced Swelling, Inflammation, and Infection: The laser never physically contacts the surgical site. This eliminates crushing, tearing, or bruising of tissue associated with traditional surgical methods. Additionally, the CO2 laser energy acts as a antimicrobial/ antibacterial agent by producing high temperatures, effectively eliminating microorganisms.

Quick Return to Normal Activities: Healing is rapid and there is less post-operative discomfort with laser surgery.
